sella curulis on daïs, extending right hand; on daïs to right, officer standing left; on daïs to left, Liberalitas standing left, holding abacus and cornucopia; at foot of platform to left, citizen standing right on steps, holding out fold of toga with both hands to receive distribution. RIC III 134; MIR 18, 690-4/30; RSC 315. Near VF, toned, a few minor marks under tone. Rare. One of the few times an elaborate distribution scene is depicted on a Denarius.
