Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; palm tree in left field, AP (civic) monogram below throne, BP monogram (date) in exergue. Duyrat 1355 var. (D49/R– [unlisted rev. die]) = BM acc. no. 1997,0510.1; Rouvier –; Price –; DCA 771; HGC 10, 61; CNG 102, lot 625 (same obv. die). In NGC encapsulation, 4276650-008, graded XF, Strike: 2/5, Surface: 4/5. Extremely rare date, one of three known (this, the BM, and CNG 102 pieces).
