Anonymous. Circa 225-214 BC. AR Didrachm – Quadrigatus (24.5mm, 6.59 g, 12h). Rome mint. Laureate head of Janus; straight truncation / Jupiter, hurling thunderbolt and holding scepter, in galloping quadriga right driven by Victory; incuse ROMA in raised tablet below. Crawford 28/3; Sydenham 64a; RSC 23. Good VF, a few deposits and struck off center on the obverse.
