Q. Pomponius Musa. 56 BC. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.83 g, 4h). Rome mint. Laureate head of Apollo right; tortoise to left / Terpsichore, the Muse of Dance, wearing long flowing tunic and peplum, standing right, holding plectrum in right hand and round-bottomed lyre in left. Crawford 410/7a; Sydenham 819a; Pomponia 18a. VF, toned, struck slightly off center, a bit of porosity.
