CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 470-465 BC. AR Nomos (18mm, 8.11 g, 7h). Taras, nude, both arms outstretched, riding dolphin left; TAPAS to right, scallop shell below / Hippocamp left. Fischer-Bossert Group 5, 103 (V52/R67); Vlasto 134 (same dies); HN Italy 827; Gillet 52; Washburn King 607 (same dies). Good VF, toned, overstruck on uncertain type, area of die rust on reverse.
