TOKENS, Yorkshire. Keighley. Anonymous. CU Penny (36mm, 28.41 g, 12h). Undertype dated 1812. KEIGHLEY in raised letters within an incuse rectangle and KEIGHLEY in incuse letters, curved as a segment of a circle / KEIGHLEY in raised letters within an incuse rectangle and an impressed mark with rounded ends which is a segment of a circle. Davis (countermarks p. 18) 51; W 800; TB 800. VF, two-tone brown, traces of red, some marks, spot of lacquer. Scarce. The undertype is a Birmingham Union Copper Company for Public Accomodation CU Penny, 1812. TB 345-368.
