MYSIA, Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 12.64 g, 1h). Cistophoric type. Struck circa 150-140 BC. Cista mystica with serpent; all within ivy wreath / Two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase; civic monogram to left, filleted thyrsos to right. Kleiner & Noe Series 24a, obv. die 54; Pinder 77; SNG BN 1707. VF, a little off center.


As noted by Kleiner and Noe, this obverse die was also used to strike cistophoric tetradrachms as Apameia (obv. die 28).
