GALLIA LUGDUNENSIS. Æ Dupondius (30mm, 14.52 g). Struck during the Civil War, AD 68-69. Large SPQR in rectangular countermark on a bronze dupondius of Nero. Pangerl 27. Host Fine, c/m VF, brown patina. Rare. The first large type specimen of this countermark to be offered from the collection.
