CYPRUS, Koinon of Cyprus. Vespasian. AD 69-79. AR Tetradrachm (24.5mm, 12.78 g, 12h). Dated “New Holy Year” 9 (AD 76/77). Laureate head left / Zeus Salaminios standing facing, holding patera and scepter, with eagle perched on wrist; grain ear in exergue. Prieur 1566; Parks 16d; RPC II 1805. VF, toned, some light scratches and marks. Extremely rare, three known to Prieur, and one in CoinArchives.
