SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Trajan. AD 98-117. AR Tetradrachm (27.5mm, 14.69 g, 6h). Struck AD 98-99. Laureate head right / Eagle standing facing on thunderbolt, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak. Prieur 1488 (Tyre; this coin); McAlee 428; RPC III 3514/3 (this coin cited). Good VF, toned with some iridescence, graffito in right obverse field. Very rare, only two known to Prieur, two in CoinArchives, and eight specimens cited by the authors of RPC, including this coin.
