SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Trajan. AD 98-117. AR Tridrachm (24mm, 11.26 g, 6h). Struck AD 100. Laureate bust right, slight drapery / Laureate bust of Melqart-Hercules right, with lion’s skin tied around neck. Prieur 1483 (Tyre; this coin); McAlee 476A; RPC III 3567/1 (this coin cited and illustrated). VF, toned, a few light scratches. Very rare, only eight known to Prieur, four in CoinArchives, and two specimens cited by the authors of RPC, including this coin.
