SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Trajan. AD 98-117. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 14.48 g, 7h). Struck AD 103-111. Laureate head of Trajan right, set on eagle standing right; club to left beneath bust / Laureate bust of Melkart-Hercules right, with lion’s skin tied around neck. Prieur 1496 (Tyre; this coin); McAlee 458; RPC III 3533/10 (this coin cited and illustrated). Good VF, lightly toned, a couple spots of verdigris.
