PHOENICIA, Aradus. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (26.5mm, 12.43 g, 6h). Struck AD 215-217. Laureate and cuirassed bust left, wearing aegis; trabea over shoulder / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; crescent between legs. Prieur 1259. VF, toned, some porosity and metal flaws. Extremely rare, only one known to Prieur, and one, this coin, in CoinArchives.
