CARIA, Chersonesos. Circa 500-480 BC. AR Stater (18.5mm, 11.90 g, 6h). Forepart of roaring lion right / Head of ox right within incuse square. Cahn X12 var. (unlisted dies); HNO –; SNG Copenhagen –; BMC 1. VF, toned, some porosity, a few marks on reverse. Very rare, only one in CoinArchives (of a different variety [= Rosen 626]).
