SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Gabala. Macrinus. AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (25.5mm, 13.50 g, 11h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Draped bust of Tyche right, wearing mural crown, thyrsus before; all set on eagle standing right, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak. Unpublished, but cf. Prieur 1089 (for obv. die by the same celator). Good VF, lightly toned, some porosity, reverse slightly double struck. Unique. Prieur did not own this example when he published his book, and one example, this coin, in CoinArchives.
