Arcadius. AD 383-408. AV Solidus (21mm, 4.47 g, 12h). Mediolanum (Milan) mint. Struck AD 397-402. Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Arcadius standing right, foot on captive, holding labarum and Victory on globe; M-D//COMOB. RIC IX 35b = RIC X 1205; Toffanin 500/2; Depeyrot 16/1. EF, a few light scratches.
From the Brexit Collection.
There appears to be a small dot following the mintmark COMOB, but this is almost certainly a spurious feature, due to the appearance of similar dots in the fields.
