(annulet) RIC ΛRD‘ D G RЄX ΛnGL (retrograde Z) FRΛnC‘ D hIB (retrograde Z) AQ‘, Richard standing facing in ship with bowsprit, holding sword and shield; ornaments 1-11-11-1, ropes 3/1, quatrefoils 5/43, lis 1-2-1 / + IҺ’C ΛVTЄm TRΛnSIЄnS PЄR mЄDIVm ILLORVm IBΛT, voided short cross potent over cross fleurée; in each angle, crown over lion passant over trefoil; at center, R within quadrilobe; all within polylobe, with trefoils in spandrels, double saltire stops. Schneider 126 var. (no stop at end of rev. legend; same obv. die); North 1302; SCBC 1654. Good VF, light reddish gold tone. Good portrait.
