ADMIRAL GARDNER/ WORTHY THE FLEET OR THE SENATE. in two lines above, ELECTION TOKEN below, Admiral Gardner standing facing, resting right hand on canon and left on hip / SOME OF THE FOXES TRICKS ON A WESTMINSTER POLE 1796, a fox standing upon three blocks, holding a pole and a banner inscribed “NO MAJESTY BUT THAT/ OF THE PEOPLE” in two lines; to right, a man standing left, holding a slab in left hand inscribed “SEDITION” and a banner that reads "THIS IS YOUR ONLY/ PROP” in two lines." The blocks are inscribed “CORESPONG./ SOCIETY in two lines, “RIGHTS/ OF MAN” in two lines, and “WHIG/ CLUB in two lines; to left, a crowned obelisk, bearing sword and scepter in saltire, inscribed “BILL/ OF/ RIGHTS/ MAG/ CHA in five lines.
