SICILY, Katane. Circa 450-430 BC. AR Litra (12mm, 0.54 g, 9h). Head of Selinos right / Vertical thunderbolt with wings above and volutes below; two shields flanking, KAT-ANE (retrograde) around. Boehringer, Kataneische, Series II, Li 3; Mirone 28 (same dies as illustration); HGC 2, 587. Good VF, find patina, broken flan, a couple marks. Fine style. Very rare with head right and retrograde ethnic.
