Justinian II. First reign, 685-695. AR Hexagram (22.5mm, 6.43 g, 6h). Constantinople mint, uncertain officina. Struck 692-695. Facing bust of Christ Pantokrator; cross behind / Justinian standing facing, wearing crown and loros, and holding akakia and cross potent set on two steps; [?]//CONOP. DOC 17; MIB 40; Yannopoulos Type II; SB 1259. Good VF, toned, ragged flan, small obverse die break, flatly struck in areas, a few light scratches. Very rare with an excellent portrait of Christ.
