CYRRHESTICA, Hierapolis. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 13.76 g, 1h). Struck circa AD 215-217. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust facing, head left / Eagle standing left, head left and tail right, with right wing behind leg, holding wreath in beak; between legs, lion advancing left. Prieur 940 (this coin). Lightly toned with underlying luster, slightly granular flan. EF. Extremely rare, only four noted by Prieur, and five in CoinArchives.
