MESOPOTAMIA, Carrhae. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (24.5mm, 12.59 g, 6h). Struck circa AD 215-217. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing on bull’s head flanked by pellets, head right and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak. Prieur 822. Toned, some light deposits and verdigris. Good VF. Extremely rare, only one noted by Prieur, and none in CoinArchives.
