VESPASIAN. 69-79 AD. AR Denarius (16mm, 3.41 gm). Ephesus mint. Struck 71 AD. Laureate head right / Concordia seated left on throne, holding holding two grain ears and poppy, and cornucopiae; [EPHE] (mint) in exergue. RIC II 329; cf. RPC II 830; RSC 67. VF, reverse slightly off-center. Scarce. ($750)
Although the reverse monogram has been struch off-flan, the COS III obverse, known only with the EPHE mintmark, as well as an overall similar style, suggests this coin to be of that type.
