Belgic Dynasties of Britain and their Coins. (Archaeologia or Miscellaneous Tracts Relating to Antiquity. Oxford; Society of Antiquaries, 1944). 4to. 184 pages; 32 plates, some photographic, illustrating 164 coin types.

An Introduction to Celtic Coins. (London, 1978).

The Coins of the Ancient Celts. (Edinburgh, 1980).

The main title attractively bound in full tan blind stamped cloth, the spine lettered in gilt, the later volumes in the original printed boards. Fine condition, light wear to extremities but clean throughout. The attractively produced and seldom offered, separate printing of Allen’s useful work on Celtic coins, with two other valuable titles by the same author, the last much-used and sought after.
