[Various Authors]. Lot of three festschriften in honour of Robert Carson and Kenneth Jenkins, Harold Mattingly and Simone Scheers. Includes:

Price, M., Burnett, A. & Bland, R. Essays in Honour of Robert Carson and Kenneth Jenkins. (London; Spink, 1993). 4to. 296 pages; 48 plates.

Carson, R. A. G. & Sutherland, C. H. V. [Eds]. Essays in Roman Coinage Presented to Harold Mattingly. (London, 1956). 4to. 291 pages; 8 plates.

Heesch, J. van. & Heeren, I. [Eds]. Coinage in the Iron Age. Essays in honour of Simone Scheers. (London; Spink, 2009). 4to. 439 pages; illustrated throughout.

All three titles in the original publishers cloth, the first two with jackets. Fine condition, light shelf wear, especially to the jackets, the top edges rolled with a few light marks, else little used and internally clean. Three important festschrifts, the first presented to two former keepers of the British Museum on the occasion of their 75th birthdays, the second written in honour of the “mother of Celtic numismatics” and the last containing a wealth of articles on Roman numismatics written by leading authorities in the field. The first two titles surprisingly scarce, the last seldom seen with the original jacket. Three (3) titles in lot. Website shipping rates do not apply.
