‘ATYPICAL’ COINS, Edessa type. Elagabalus. AD 218-222. AR Tetradrachm (36mm, 11.46 g, 6h). Laureate head right, bit of drapery on shoulder / Eagle standing facing, head left and tail right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; small shrine between legs. Prieur 1726. Some porosity. VF. Extremely rare – one of only two known to Prieur.
