Draped bust of Venus left, wearing stephane; small Cupid at point of bust; lituus to left, scepter to right / Trophy of Gallic arms, holding a shield and carnyx in each hand; on left, kneeling bearded male captive seated left, looking right; on right, seated female captive right, resting head in hand. Crawford 468/2; CRI 59; Sydenham 1015; RSC 14. Toned, a few light scratches, banker’s mark behind Venus’ head. VF.
