Commodus. AD 177-192. AR Denarius (18.5mm, 2.44 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck AD 187. Laureate head right / Commodus, veiled and togate, standing left, sacrificing out of patera over lighted altar and holding volumen; prostrate bull on the ground. RIC III 161; MIR 18, 740-4/30; RSC 1001. Lightly toned, a couple of flan cracks. Good VF.
