ISLANDS off ATTICA, Aegina. Circa 480-457 BC. AR Stater (18mm, 12.29 g, 10h). Sea turtle, head in profile, with trefoil collar and ‘T-back’ design on shell / Large square incuse with skew pattern. Meadows, Aegina, Group IIIa; Milbank Period III, pl. I, 15; HGC 6, 435. Toned, two round countermarks overlapping on shell, containing, respectively, a head right and a head left. Good VF.
