ARABIA, Northwestern. Lihyan. 2nd–1st centuries BC. AR Drachm (13mm, 2.85 g, 10h). Imitating Athens obverse. Helmeted head of Athena right, with frontal eye; monogram on cheek / Upward crescent within incuse square. Cf. CNG E-162, lot 113 corr. (not Sabaean letter D on cheek) for obverse, otherwise unpublished in the standard references. Toned, some porosity. VF. Extremely rare.
