SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Emesa. Uranius Antoninus. Usurper, AD 253-254. BI Tetradrachm (27mm, 12.53 g, 12h). Laureate and cuirassed bust left, wearing
balteus / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; S C between legs; [ЄMICA] in exergue. Baldus 1 (dies I, 1); Prieur 1027; RPC IX 1868. Toned, some minor porosity. EF. Wonderful, detailed portrait. Extremely rare, both Prieur and the authors of RPC cite only the BN example in Paris. None in Coin Archives.
