M. Aemilius Lepidus. 58 BC. AR Denarius (17mm, 3.96 g, 6h). Rome mint. Laureate and diademed female head (Roma?) right; wreath with fillet to left, simpulum to right / Equestrian statue of Marcus Aemilius Lepidus right, carrying trophy over shoulder. Crawford 419/1d; Sydenham 828; Aemilia 20; cf. RBW 1508 (for type). Attractive, deep cabinet toning. Good VF. Well centered.
