The Triumvirs. Octavian. Autumn 30-summer 29 BC. AR Denarius (19.5mm, 3.67 g, 5h). Uncertain Italian mint, possibly Rome. Bare head right / Octavian’s Actian arch (arcus Octaviani), showing a single span surmounted by Octavian in facing triumphal quadriga; IMP • CAESAR on the architrave. CRI 422; RIC I 267; RSC 123. Lightly toned with some iridescence, test cut at edge on reverse. Good VF.
