SEVERVS PIVS AVG, laureate head right / P M TR P XIII COS III P P, Jupiter, naked, except for cloak over arm, standing front, head left, holding thunderbolt in right hand and scepter, nearly vertical, in left; at feet to left, eagle standing left, head right. RIC IV 196; Calicó 2508; BMCRE 469-70; Biaggi 1091 (same obv. die); Jameson –; Mazzini 468 (same obv. die). Underlying luster, trace deposits in hair curls. EF. Fine style dies.
