BAHAMAS, Colonial. George III. King of Great Britain, 1760-1820. Proof CU Penny (29mm, 9.80 g, 6h). Soho (Birmingham) mint. Dated 1807. Laureate and draped bust right / BAHAMA, ship under sail right, island and two smaller ships in background; in exergue, EXPULSIS PIRATIS/ RESTITUTA/ COMMERCIA (Commerce restored by the expulsion of the pirates). Edge: engrailed. Pridmore 3; KM 1. In NGC encapsulation 4740166-001 graded PF 62 BN. Extremely rare.
