SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Vespasian. AD 69-79. AR Tetradrachm (24mm, 14.91 g, 12h). Dated “New Holy Year” 2 (AD 69/70). Laureate head right / Eagle standing left on club, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; palm frond to left. Prieur 123 var. (obv. legend–AVTOKPA); McAlee 347 var. (same); RPC II 1962 var. (same). Toned, a touch of porosity, a few light scratches. VF. Rare legend variant with AVTOKPATO. Prieur did not own this example when he published his book, and only one, this coin, in CoinArchives.
