Elagabalus. AD 218-222. AR Denarius (21mm, 2.82 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck AD 221-222. Laureate and draped bust right, wearing horn / Elagabalus standing left, wearing pointed cap, holding club and sacrificing out of patera over tripod to left; bull lying down behind tripod; star to left and right. RIC IV 88 var. (only one star); Thirion 261; RSC 61c. Faint porosity. Good VF. Rare with star in left and right fields.
