LUCANIA, Poseidonia. Circa 530-500 BC. AR Half Nomos – Drachm (17.5mm, 3.22 g, 12h). Poseidon standing right, preparing to cast trident, left arm extended; Π◊M-ES around; double-pelleted border / Incuse of obverse type, but Π◊M-ES retrograde and in relief, double-ribbed border. Gorini 7; HN Italy 1108. Old cabinet tone, a hint of granularity, light marks under tone. Fine.
