SELEUKID EMPIRE. Demetrios I Soter. 162-150 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 16.63 g, 12h). Tarsos mint. Diademed head right within wreath / Tyche, nude to waist, holding baton and cornucopia, seated left on backless throne decorated with winged Tritoness (erroneously engraved with only wing and leg); to outer left, monogram above club; monogram to outer right. SC 1615.8; HGC 9, 795c. Toned, die rust and horn silver, die shift on obverse, graffito on reverse. VF. Very rare.
