Crawford 235/1c; Sydenham 461a; Pompeia 1a; Type as RBW 972. Lightly toned with some iridescence, edge split. Near EF.

It is uncommon to find this coin type with the full reverse legend SEX.POM.FOSTVLVS visible. The type was struck from well produced large reverse dies with a wealth of details, but regrettably, the flans were not made to match the dies. [Andrew McCabe]
