GETA, as Caesar. 198-209 AD. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.61 gm). Laodicea mint. Struck circa 198-200 AD. L SEPTIMIVS GETA CAES, bare-headed and draped bust right / Lituus, knife, jug, simpulum and sprinkler. RIC -; BMCRE; cf. RSC 188 (Rome). Toned, good VF. Very rare early issue from this mint and apparently unpublished with the L, rather than the P praenomen.
