Laureate head of Trajan right, set on eagle standing right; club to left / Laureate large bust of Melkart-Hercules right, with lion’s skin tied around neck. McAlee 464; Prieur 1519 (Tyre); RPC III 3553/2 (this coin cited and illustrated). Toned, areas of flat strike. VF. Extremely rare, only one example known to Prieur (in Berlin), none in CoinArchives, and three specimens cited by the authors of RPC, including this coin.
