SPAIN, Emporion. Circa 218-212 BC. AR Drachm (4.52 gm). Head of Persephone right, with grain ears in hair and three dolphins around / Pegasos flying right; his head transformed into a small leaping man. CNH 36; SNG BM Spain 23; Burgos 877. Toned VF, slightly scuffed. Rare. ($600)
The little leaping figure supposedly represents the river Chrysaor. An interesting "hidden image" coin type.
