Trajan. AD 98-117. AV Aureus (19mm, 7.36 g, 7h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 104/5-107. IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS V P P, laureate bust right, wearing aegis / S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI, Trajan, bareheaded and in military dress, with cloak flying behind him, on horse riding right, thrusting spear with right hand at Dacian falling on left knee, right, looking back left, holding out hands in attitude of alarm.
