GALLIENUS. 253-268 AD. AR Antoninianus (22mm, 4.16 gm). Cologne mint. Struck 257-258 AD. Radiate and cuirassed bust left, holding sceptre over shoulder, and shield decorated with gorgoneion / Victory standing right on globe, holding trophy and wreath; bound captives on either side at feet. Cf. RIC V 49 (Lugdunum); MIR 36, 874m; cf. RSC 1065 (same). Lightly toned VF, partial flat strike. Scarce bust.
