Wreathed head of Persephone right, wearing triple-pendant earring and necklace; two dolphins before, poppy behind / Horse standing right before palm tree. Jenkins III 110 (O37/R101); SNG Lloyd 1624; SNG Copenhagen -; SNG Fitzwilliam 1479 var. (no poppy; same reverse die). Lightly toned EF, soft strike on reverse (typical with this die). Very attractive on a large flan. ($4000)
