Helmeted head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves over visor and a spiral palmette on the bowl / AQE, owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent behind; all in an incuse square. Starr Group II C, 64 (same reverse die); Seltman Group N; Svoronos, Athènes pl. 8, 19 (same reverse die); Dewing -; SNG Munich -; BMC Attica -; SNG Copenhagen -. Toned, nice VF, stuck on a broad flan with a full crest. ($3000)
