Degraded Pahlavi legend, crowned and cuirassed bust right / Degraded Pahlavi legend, fire altar with attendants, no ribbon; pellet to right of central column, fravahr (wreath) and taurus symbols flanking flames. This coin is apparently of a variety unrecognized by Göbl, combining a type II obverse with a reverse containing attributes of types I and II. The symbols typical of type II reverse are all present, but the attendant on the left wears the crown of the type I reverse, and the altar has no ribbon.
