SASANIAN KINGS of PERSIA. Khosrau II. 591-628 AD. AR Drachm (3.98 gm). Uncertain mint. Dated 23 (613 AD). "Khosrau, the king of kings, may (he) strengthen (or prosper)" in Pahlavi, crowned and cuirassed facing bust, ribbons over shoulders, stars-in-crescents flanking crown, monogram to left / "Iran has strengthened (or prospered)" to right in Pahlavi, facing bust of Anahit in flame nimbus, regnal year to left.
