HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, laureate bust right, slight drapery on left shoulder / COS III, S C in exergue, Hadrian standing left on the Rostra in the Forum, addressing five citizens with hands raised in acclamation; temple, with four columns visible, behind. RIC II 640; Strack 599a1; Banti 203; BMCRE 1310 note; Cohen 417 var. (no drapery). VF, brown patina, worn at high points, small area of corrosion on reverse. ($3000)
